these two videos were done for esperanza’s benefit gala they put on last week, and they finish off the video series we did for them. they had several hundred people in attendance to see and hear what esperanza has been doing and to partner with them for year ahead.
these are both stories, both ways in which families and individuals have been changed as a result of being connected with esperanza. one is the same family from the previous esperanza video, just going much deeper into their story (which was such an incredibly honest and raw interview, our hearts really felt the weight of this families story, and the freedom and relief and piece of mind they now have). the other is a story of a young man named benjamin. a musician, singer/songwriter, brother, leader, employee. an awesome character, super ambitious and endearing. he performed some of his songs at the gala and, for those of you who live in chicago, is playing at uncommon ground in wrigleyville tonight (April 23, 2012).
